The newest star in Los Angeles showed up at the NBA Summer League on Sunday night to support his Lakers as they defeated the Detroit Pistons 101-78.
James, who officially became a Laker when he signed his contract on July 9, arrived wearing a white t-shirt and yellow Lakers shorts, complemented with purple sneakers as he sat at the seats on the baseline. Brandon Ingram was also in attendance at the game and exchanged greetings with James.
Josh Hart led the Lakers to a win with 18 points and a team-high 4 assists in just 22 minutes against the Pistons.
James also met with Tyronn Lue, his former coach at Cleveland Cavaliers, as the two spoke briefly during the game.
