Can the Nigerian D’Tigers defeat Senegal in Afrobasket 2015 semi-finals?

At the 2013 Afrobasket in Cote d’Ivoire, the Senegalese national team was without Gorgui Dieng, the 6’11 centre/power forward for the Minnesota Timberwolves, who is arguably the best player presently at the ongoing Afrobasket in Tunisia. Should D’Tigers’ Coach Will Voigt consider putting double-teams on Dieng, that may not exactly work given the big man’s knack for throwing passes, which accounts for his 4.2 assists per. One would expect the team to employ a strategy they used against Gabon at the quarter-finals when the Gabonese Panthers attempted a comeback by slashing into the paint at every possession. During that period, D’Tigers blocked the slashing lanes, choosing to give up open shots. But Nigeria’s Olaseni Lawal and Alade Aminu will need to bring their A-game on both ends of the court to minimize Dieng’s damage.
